Formed in 1960 by business and technical professionals in the construction industry, the NLCBA has built a lasting tradition through its annual bonspiel — now entering its 63rd year. Each February, participants from construction and related fields come together for a few days of friendly curling, networking, and camaraderie, celebrating the strong community that has grown around the event.

Newfoundland and Labrador Construction Bonspiel. The Bonspiel will be held again at the RE/MAX Centre in St. John’s from Monday, February 16th to Wednesday, February 18th, 2025. The registration fee is $180; this covers all curling activities, and special events. To ensure continued success, we ask that you encourage a co-worker or associate to join the event - we accept applications on a first come first served basis. This year we are expecting a good turnout and there will be a limit of 300 registrants, with the first 256 registered assigned to teams. The balance will be spares or social members. Usually there is ample opportunity for spares so don’t hesitate to join in at the club. As an added incentive to encourage early registration, we will be having an Early Bird Prize again this year for those who register on or before December 31st. All registered members, postmarked or received prior to the deadline and paid in full, will be eligible for the early bird draw.
